The previous reviewer has done a good job in summarising the highlights of this keyboard. From my perspective I have a Behringer KT108 15W amplifier that I use for certain of the voices, such as the pipe organ where I need a bit more oomph on the heavy bass and a more rounded tone than the built in speakers can cope with, there is nothing wrong with the built in set mind you for most domestic/small studio purposes.
About my only criticism is that a seperate dedicated volume control for the style/accompanyment channels would be nice, but it is quite simple to get at this function so it isn't really a major problem and not worth docking a star.
As with any keyboard purchase read the specs carefully to make sure that you are buying the features you want as there is tremendous choice of models, the only problem is usually your budget, the specification of this instrument will be sufficient for most of its intended purchasers. Download the manual (for free) from the Yamaha web site if you really want to understand what this is capable of and making sure that it works the way you want it before parting with cash.
If you intend to leave it permanently available, then consider the L2C stand, it works for me but others prefer other options so read the reviews.
I use the M-Audio SP-2 Piano Sustain Pedal with it and other keyboards, which has so far been reliable.
If you like the instrument but want to pay a bit less the PSR-E333 is in general very similar but without a number of the additional features, again read the manual if you can first, but it has an excellent specification in its own right (mainly identical to the 433) and for many people, they probably wouldn't need or notice the things that are different. (I do have one of these as well.)
Yamaha have been building this PSR-4xx series for a number of years and have refined it so that it meets the expectations of its intended purchasers - if you need a full pro keyboard they will be delighted to sell you one but expect to pay appropriately - this is more than adequate for most of us.
